"Really lovely and helpful staff. Basic room but very clean and a nice location. The breakfast was decent, great options including waffles. The bar was really nice with great drinks and waitresses."

"The food was extremely expensive and not very nice at the restaurant. Scaffolding up all over the back of the hotel slightly ruined the aesthetics."

"The breakfast was good, love the waffles but the cups were pretty small and I would have loved some hot savory breakfast like scrambled eggs or something and would have happily paid a little more! Also I think the viking restaurant was great but expensive, and incentive for guests to eat there would be great like free soft drink with a meal or 10% or something."

"Excellent theming and excellent food. The staff were all very helpful. I have stayed closer to Reykjavik but with the easg transport options, will consider going back to Viking Hotel first."

"Property was equipped with hair dryer, soaps and clean towels daily if needed. We stayed in on the hours which was very cool, a bunk and three single beds to choose from! There was ample space inside the room and it was warm and bed comfy. The food in the restaurant (which is a separate building across) was good and all the staff in both hotel n restaurant were lovely, proving a warm great service. Supermarkets in 10 mins walk away and it’s 25 mins ish into Reykjavík but it’s situated in a nice lil area with plenty of restaurant options close by! It’s very cool for any Viking enthusiasts. Breakfast was ok, fruits cereal waffles and bread, juice and coffee also include. Parked at the front of the hotel with no issues."
