"The cleaning staff we saw throughout the hotel were friendly, some of the front desk and customer facing staff felt a bit dismissive. They weren’t rude, we just felt that they weren’t too welcoming. Towel display on the bed was a nice touch, however knocking on the door straight after and clearly expecting a tip for it, took the shine off the gesture. Quoting us double the price for a taxi transfer was also frustrating."
