"I had a lovely stay at St Anthony's . It us in an excellent location and you really feel you are in India . Very near to the market and many restaurants. A minute walk to a very large supermarket and 15 minute walk to ferries to Fort Cochin . It is budget but clean and everything works and great value . The highlight are the staff who were so friendly , and helpfull. From morning hot drink to booking onward tickets and places to visit . Thank you . Next time i am in Cochi i will definately stay at St Anthony's. Also no mosquitos and i felt very safe in the area whatever time of day or evening.."

"I would recommend this place. The immediate location is a little sketchy and dark at night but otherwise completely safe and easy to find. Green market and night shopping street are nearby as well as public buses, metro stop, railway stations and ferries to Fort Cochi. Room with ensuite bathroom and ceiling fan is basic but it works. The whole place is a little run down but this is reflected in the price. You get a room for the price of a dorm bed in Fort Kochi. Boats from Fort Kochi to nearby Ernakulam jetty run till 21.50 (15 mins, 6 rupees). To High Court until 20.00 (25 mins, 40 rupees, AC e-boat) What made this place worthwhile for me is attentiveness of receptionist (Rafi) who arranged for me a night direct train ticket for Gokarna only two days in advance. With all different probability percentages for confirmation of Indian train tickets it really helps to have someone experienced, patient and with good English by your side. Overall felt good there and would come back."

"This accommodation is awesome! Felt really safe, kind and helpful owner, free chai in the mornings! I ended up staying here for nearly a week as I felt so comfortable. Big bonus - was able to check in super early, so I could come here and immediately sleep after my early train. Way better price than accommodation in Fort Kochi, and it's a ~15 min walk to the ferry terminal (ferry costs Rs.6), so if you want to go to the fort and don't mind travelling there on the ferry, this is a great spot. Basic but clean amenities, fairly spacious room (upgraded to room with own bathroom on arrival as not a big price difference). Really grateful for my stay here :)"

"The room is basic but comfortable and appropriate for the price. The location is very good — about 10 minutes from the metro and roughly 5 minutes from the ferry. There’s also a bazaar very close by that’s great for an evening walk and exploring local life. The best part of my stay was the reception staff, especially Rafael. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. He recommended places to visit, helped me with train tickets, and assisted with many other things during my stay. Many thanks again to him for making my trip easier and more enjoyable."
