"This is the second time we booked at Palakal Residency Homestay. This time it didn’t feel like we were guest, but instead it felt like coming home to stay with our family. Anthony and Lissy are very caring and hospitable hosts that are happy to share recommendations, tips, and help where they can. They provide free water, tea, coffee and offer amazing breakfast at a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with AC and private bathroom. There is also a cosy common area and terras where you can sit. I would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a nice and cosy stay in a nice neighbourhood close to many touristic attractions and public transport."

"The accomodation is located in a cosy area, close by the water, and with a busstand nearby. Lissy and Anthony are the kindest hosts and made us feel like home. They gave us free water, tea and coffee. Also, make sure to try their breakfast, which is delicious and they made different types. I would recommend this stay if you want to stay in a more quiet area, but still close to fort cochi."

"Lovely couple , Antony and Lizzie made us so so welcome. We hadn’t realised beautiful breakfasts. Our room was a delight and we were the only ones staying so had use of the upstairs floor. Lovely seating , swing chair on balcony. Stunning ! Antony ran us to the bus stop and gave good advice for places the go."

The house owners are some of the kindest people we ever met!…they were really sweet and caring to our one year old baby as well.Lisa Aunty’s breakfast is unforgettable so affordable and delicious at the same time! Will surely be visiting on our next trip to Kerala. Highly recommended."
