Nubra ecolodge is a family run ecotourism venture, located near Sumur sand dunes in the Nubra Valley. The landscape facing the confluence of Shyok and Nubra rivers is the natural habitat for seabuckthorn, wild flowers and desert wildlife. The farm land with our family home, has been planted with poplar, willow, apricot and apple trees, along with vegetable gardens. It commands a 360 degree view of the Karakoram mountains, the sand dunes and the nubra river. A large open deck facing the valley near the vegetable garden is used as a lounge or for dining in fair weather. Ideal location to go for long walks along the Sumur sand dunes, the nubra riverand the Buddha statue and the park We recommend a minimum two days stay to enjoy the nubra experience.

"Les chambres sont très propres et spacieuses. Le personnel était à l’écoute et nous a préparé un petit déjeuner très tôt en dehors des horaires habituels. La nourriture au restaurant est très bonne. L’emplacement est idéal pour faire une petite pause au calme au milieu de la vallée. Des dunes de sables et la rivière se trouvent à quelques pats de l’hébergement."

"Très confortable et une large carte pour le repas du soir. C est très calme et isolé, notre petit chalet était très confortable. À 500m en direction de la rivière il y a des dune de sable très belle, bien moins fréquentée que celle de hunder que nous avons trouvé trop touristique! Bref allez y c est un havre de paix comparer à d autres emplacement très voir trop touristique."
