"Best breakfast I've had so far. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Bar and restaurant downstairs were great and had an amazing selection of food"

"Limited spread breakfast and it was okay. The location is excellent. Just within a walking distance from Egmore Railway Station. Very convenient if you travel by train. The check-in is 2.00 pm. But, they do give rooms for early check-in for an additionl cost. Our train arrived at 5.15 am and we got rooms."

"Rooms were good. Stebin Raj needs special mention. His house keeping and services were good. Breakfast was just about okay. It could improve by a few more items."

"The front office reception. The staff were good , but with serious face. Not courteous look. When as a guest , I smile and try to look pleasant, the reception staff wore a very serious look , a bored and tired look as if not welcoming us"

"Arriving in Chennai, tired after an overnight flight, we were originally booked into a different hotel from this one. Being unhappy with the previous accommodation, we left and booked into Fortel and were relieved to experience comfort and excellent service from the Fortel staff."

"Well-maintained resort with friendly and attentive staff. Two nice and easily accessible pool areas are available for guests to enjoy even after check-out - one located near the restaurant and the other closer to the bungalows. Despite the hotel being fully booked, mainly with Indian guests, the pool areas were not at all crowded. My impression is that sunbathing by the pool is more of a European habit. The breakfast was excellent, offering European options like toast and omelets alongside Indian culinary delights, which are truly an adventure for food lovers to explore. The location is great, close to both the beaches and Chapora Fort, which is definitely worth a visit. Thanks to Leoney Resort, my first acquaintance with India was a success. A big thank you to all of you!"

"Nice location and close to restaurants and beach. Vagator is nearby. Staff especially the restaurant and bar manager is extremely good at service, very humble too. Reception folk are good to deal with too. It is a clean property though dated now but has good look and feel. Good food available here."

"The location is really good and only a 5 minute walk to the forest ticket office and shuttle bus. In town but is set back and very peaceful, surrounded by greenery and wildlife. Room was clean and water replenished daily. A nice patio area to watch the wildlife. The restaurant food was extremely good. We left early each day and a breakfast pack was made up each morning. The team was all very polite, friendly and helpful. A great stay and we would recommend"
