"Beautiful big house with scenic views. Room was a bargain for the price. Spacious, comfortable, clean and had a great selection for breakfast. The house is easy to get to with a restaurant/bar just 10 minutes walk and a shop 5 minutes drive. The house is surrounded by history with Lissadell house and W.B Yeats' resting place close by. Also just a 20 minute drive to Gleniff horseshoe which is a must see natural marvel. Would return anytime!"

Breakfast was self-service consisting of tea/coffee, breads, yoghurt, cereals, berries and eggs You won’t miss the beautiful scenery of Benbulbin that behind this lodge. Ger was such a lovely host and approachable to any guests and also she would be happy to give you a lift to Sligo town for social night etc…"

"The property is spacious and very well kept. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast choices were varied and easy to organise for yourself. Our bedroom had the option of sleeping four so a very good choice for families as well."

"Localisation was fantastic. Outside of a busy road but at the same time close to the restaurant and main amenities. A very good spot for touristic places like : Waterfall, Bebulben mountain, Bebulben forest walk, Gleniff horseshoe and more. Benbulben mountain just at the back of the house plus a lovely donkey wandering around. The room was clean and spacious. We got a self service breakfast in the morning (included in the price) which was a very nice touch from the host."
"It was very cold in the morning (it looks like heaters start to heat only after 7am) . Water in the shower needs a bit longer flow before hot water appears."
