"Friendly staff, the gentleman behind the desk was warm and welcoming. The lady serving breakfast was really attentive and couldn't do enough to make sure I was happy and fed :) I was staying on my own but it felt like I was at home. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable."

"I really enjoyed the breakfasts, which had something for everyone, and in a nice cosy setting too. I liked the room which felt a bit different to the usual hotels I stay in with my job - more character. Our host Olga was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be central, but not so central that it might be too loud at night."

"It's a family run hotel, really friendly, warm and helpful people; comfortable, spotless rooms and a good location - eg 20 min walk to Trinity College. It is quiet and usefully near O'Connell st where all the buses go from. Dublin accommodation is expensive, but this was the most affordable non-hostel place I looked at, and so much more fulfilling than some corporate hotel! Although it was advertised as no breakfast, there actually was a perfectly nice, simple breakfast at no extra cost. Family friendly. A decent selection of places to eat nearby, though obviously there's more choice on the South side of the river."
