Overlooking Dingle Bay, midway between Glenbeigh and Cahirciveen, Caitin's is a traditional old-style pub with guest accommodation. Access to the Kerry Way walking route runs alongside Caitin's. Caitin's has been run by the Golden family for over 100 years. It provides very high-quality accommodation, and friendly, helpful staff. Within 2 km there is a post office, grocery shop, petrol station and a safe blue-flag beach for swimming.

"Our room was located upstairs. Jack (the proprietor) pointed out that my elderly Mum could reach the 1st floor by the via the outside ramp rather than the stairs which was very much appreciated. We had a lovely large twin room and a modern bathroom with shower. Caitins' has a lovely view (we didnt have a sea view) but is directly opposite the coastline. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was good. For us Aussies we thought it different that they didnt refrigerate soft drinks/sparkling water etc but were happy to provide ice as requested."
"For an overnight stay, Caitins was perfect."
"Room comfortable, food excellent, really loved the choice at breakfast."
"Always a little more comfortable to have a kettle in the room."
"great location; lovely evening meals; We had a room with a view of Dingle. The room space and storage were excellent."
"Bed was a little too hard for us! A "topper" might solve the problem. We would have liked to see a member of family or staff appear during breakfast."
"The view from the bedroom we were in was magnificent! It was lovely to wake up with such a direct view over the sea, across to the Dingle peninsula. Plenty of parking and we found that we were not affected by the sound of traffic at all, despite being next to the road. Room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable too. A great pit stop on the Ring of Kerry."
"The restaurant prices seemed a little steep, so we didn't sample it (perhaps we missed out and it was actually delicious!)"
"Views were fantastic overlooking the sea. Staff very friendly."
"We didn’t get a cooked breakfast but there was still plenty of choice."

"Fantastic location and a fantastic hotel. Our room was just perfect. The food was a taste sensation, especially the gourmet dinner in the Yew Tree restaurant. The spa facilities were excellent and not overcrowded. All the staff were friendly, helpful, caring and respectful, they were so attentive throughout our stay. This was a special birthday treat for my husband from our children, a lovely welcome/birthday note and a bottle of Prosecco awaited us in our room on arrival. The chef also made a lovely birthday treat after our meal. These extra touches were much appreciated and made the whole experience so enjoyable."

"Stayed with my wife for one night - really enjoyed the hotel. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room while some may say is a bit dated has charm and makes it feel a bit more homely. The room is very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. two different pillows each which were soft and hard. the shower was a beast and very powerful. Breakfast was included and was excellent value - freshly cooked hot food as well as continental options. Again the staff were very attentive and clearly wanted to make sure you had everything you need. On check out I was given a couple of 10 per cent discount coupons which came in handy for Kildare Village. The leisure facilities are a great inclusion. Decent little gym with good cardio equipment, an 18metre pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a gem of a steam room. There are lockers in the changing room but you will need your own padlock. You will also need a swim cap for the pool."
