Bukit keker cottage

"Beautiful location in gardens with a view towards the sea. Very comfortable bed, spacious room and a large, well laid out bathroom. A few minutes walk from the main strip and both ports, including one short steep section, but that meant it was cooler and more rural. Some people have commented about the prayer noise, but we knew about this in advance, it only lasted a couple of minutes (6pm and 6am) and didn't bother us unduly. Friendly staff on and good communication with the owner, who arranged a great driver to take us on a car trip around the western sights. Btw Kelingking is highly recommended if you walk down the cliff steps to the beach."

"The room was always clean and tidy and bed was comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a scooter from them which was very convenient."

"It is located a little off the main road (3 minutes by scooter, 10 minutes on foot), which we quite enjoyed. There are only about 5 cottages, so you will not encounter many other guests. We were also able to rent a scooter directly."

"There is a temple located very close, which means you will hear the prayer music very early in the morning. However, it didn’t bother us too much, as we appreciate other cultures and their practices and don’t expect the people to change their way of life for the tourists."

"Very clean, cosy and warm showers! Lots of animals noise in the morning and Hindu prayer call nearby. Property is beautiful along with location and staff are very helpful and friendly."

"Great location being 10 mins walk to Toyo Pakeh where all the food, boats, tours etc are. Modest stay, but clean with everything you need so is a good value for money."

"There is a mosque which can be quite loud (4 minute prayer at 6am, some in the afternoon). Can be heard across the whole hill so not this accommodations issue. They were very kind to warn us when it would occur."

"Such a peaceful stay in a cute little cottage on top of a little hill with a lovely view of the garden, bushland and the sea. Feels like you are very far away in the bush with how peaceful it is and surrounded by nature, but it is actually close walking to many warungs, supermarket and to one of the boat harbours (which was very convenient!) During our stay there was some lightning and rain during the evening… and it was so beautiful and amazing to listen to it from the cottage, and to see the lightning flashing so clearly in the distance out at sea.. very special!! The cottage was so clean and tidy and very spacious and lovely helpful staff… thank you"
