The garden features barbecue facilities and a seating area. 2 bikes are at guests’ disposal, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. All rooms and apartments feature a view of the greenery. A seating area and a wardrobe are featured in all units, as well as a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Main entrance to the national park is 6 km away, while Crne Rijeke Spring is 4 km from House Izvor. Markets and restaurants are available 5 km away. Ski Resort Mukinje of Plitvice can be reached in 5 km. Guests can also visit Barać Caves, 20 km from the property. Rafting and canoeing is possible on rivers Korana and Una, as well as hiking on Plješevica or Plitvice Hills. The town of Slunj can be reached in 40 km, while the bus stops in Plitvice, 6 km away. Nearest Train Station is in Rudopolje, 40 km away, while Zagreb Airport can be reached in 150 km.

"The place is perfect if you want to relax and disconnect from city life. Not on the main road, so quite, we were very welcomed and we simply enjoyed listening to the birds, having a nice conversation with the owner of the place at dinner time/during the day. If we will visit again that part of the country, for sure this will be the house we chose."

"The proprietor Tom was lovely, happy to share his special part of Croatia. Room was perfect temperature, shower hot, breakfast the best we had on our trip through Croatia and Bosnia. Only 15mins or so from Plitvice Lakes. We had a flat battery in the morning, and Tom saved the day, as it was a hire car from Montenegro, we would have been in a pickle if he hadn't kindly helped us out."

"The welcome drink and dinner of the boss were so great!! I don't know if he's going to read this, but he's the guest who found his luggage late at night after being upset by the baggage delay in July. On my trip with my mom, I experienced a direct flight delay due to the Ms incident, and I remember that the host took care of me and talked to me on the phone several times at my second destination! Oh my! The meal is so delicious, the sunrise and sunset view, and the air are so nice!! The honey that you grow and sell yourself is the best. Please make sure to buy it!!"

"It was clean, close to the centre (about 10 min walk), and everything you might need during your stay. • Showers: clean, quite modern and comfortable. You can lock the shower door and shower safely. • Beds: one pillow, one blanket, comfortable and big enough. Didn't make sounds and overall it was a good night sleep. Of course as you see from the photos there are no curtains so maybe that could be a privacy issue for some, but we were fine • It's warm and quite. We travelled in January and it was good • U have cabinets to lock your stuff in, not a huge space but it was enough for us (two backpackers) • Sinks and mirrors in the bathroom : a lot of it, all clean, water is drinkable from the tap"
