Situated only a few metres from the sea in Božava, the recently reconstructed Hostal Lavanda is surrounded by a pine forest, offering comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation with sea views. In front of the estructura hotelera is a private rocky beach, but if you prefer sandy beaches you can go to Sakarun, one of the most picturesque beaches of Dugi Otok. Sample delicious Croatian specialities, accompanied by tasty Dalmatian wines. They are served on the spacious univers culinari terrace with magnificent views of the Adriatic Sea.

"Hotel jsme již navštívili v roce 2024 a byli jsme moc spokojeni. Hotel je na tichém místě, poskytuje soukromí a odpočinek, na který se jezdí na dovolenou. Pokoj poskytuje vše, co člověk potřebuje. Koupelna a wc čisté, klimatizace, televize i s českými programy, psací stůl, ledničku a balkon s posezením a krásným výhledem na moře. Každodenní úklid, výměna ručníků na požádání kdykoliv, doplňování mýdla. Polopenze je zcela v pořádku a bez námitek. Večeře jsou pestré, každý den jiná ryba a kdo nemusí, z masa či těstovinových salátů si každý vybere. Bonusem jsou večer nápoje zdarma a bez omezení ( víno bílé, červené a točené pivo, které si čepuje každý host sám a dle chuti). Obsluha na jedničku, ihned uklízí stoly a vždy s úsměvem. Veškerý personál je profesionální a ochotný. Parkování nad hotelem s dostatkem místa a pozitivní je příjezd na malý kruhový nájezd pro složení zavazadel. Velmi rádi se opět vrátíme."
"Snad jen malá vyjímka k celkové spokojenosti. Ranní káva je na poměry Chorvatska na velmi nízké úrovni. Ale to již bylo i při předchozím pobytu a bohužel je stále stejná. Na dobrou kávu chodíme vedle do hotelu Maxim."

"Sijainti oli todella hyvä rannalla, eikä kauppaan jne ollut pitkä matka. Uima-allas oli melkein tyhjä aina. Kannatti ottaa puolihoito. Hotellin ja rannan välistä lähtee kiva ulkoilureitti."
"Aamiaiselle ja illalliselle kannattaa mennä ajoissa tai puolet ruuista on loppu, eikä henkilökunnalla ollut mikään kiire täyttää astioita. Luultavasti pääkokki nainen oli tyly ja agressiivisen oloinen, tiuski asiakkaille. Meidän kattovalo ei toiminut ja kerroimme siitä siivoojalle, joka sanoi kertovansa siitä eteenpäin. Sitä ei korjattu koko aikana."
"Septemberski mir, tišina, vonj borovcev in čista topla voda🌞. Prijazno osebje, pijača ob večerji in zajtrku. Bližina plaže Sakarun, Veli rat, svetilnik. Do teh znamenitosti se lahko zapelješ s kolesom."

"Osoblje preljubazno, netaknuta priroda, pogled na more božanstven, kristalno cisto more, borova sumica, predivno. Vino bijelo, crno, piva, sokovi, voda i mineralna voda za vrijeme obroka neogranicena i ne naplacuje se dodatno. Ponijeli smo samo pozitivne dojmove, nista negaativno i definitivno bismo se vratili."
"Ne svidja mi se kada ljudi pisu lose recenzije jer bi htjeli za sitne novce u luksuzni hotel. Trebali bi biti realniji, a ako ne zele platiti puno, neka ostanu kod kuce. Negativne ocjene zbog stranih radnika??? Ostanite kod kuce, tako je skoro svuda u svijetu. A svi strani radnici ovdje su jako ljubazni i nasmijani. I rade svoj posao. Trebali bi samo maknuti sliku vlakića jer isti ne vozi već godinama."
"Lokacija je odlična odmah do mora i plaže na stijenama, ima i manja uvala sa sitnim šljunkom. Dosta zelenila i hlada tako da se cijeli dan može biti na plažama . Hrana u hotelu Lavanda je odlična ,pohvale kuharima."

"It was so homely and comfortable and had a beautiful balcony. I loved that it was far enough away from Zrce beach but close enough for a cheap uber, allowing us to be in the heart of the real croatia. the beach was so close and was so beautiful and secluded and we all really enjoyed ourselves! It was really easy to use all of the facilities like the job and microwave and shower and we were able to get on with daily activities as usual."

"The rooms were very clean and the balcony was overlooking the beach. You have Restaurant’s a few feet away. There is a small supermarket 200 meters away , it is a little pricey but I suggest you stock up on essentials before you arrive. The beach 🏝️ is a few steps away and the water is amazing. Small shops along the waterfront include a small bakery stand, fruit stand, icecream and crepes, restaurants and 3 shops with all the beach essentials."

"Very uncomplicated check-in, host was very kind and easy to contact in case we had questions. We got nice information about public transportation, unfortunately the dog wasnt allowed on the bus. The host speaks bery good German. Location was close to the beach. The room was clean and had air conditioning. We could park in front of the house and we were allowed to leave the car there even after we checked out."

"Very friendly and helpful property managers. Gave us heaps of information on the surrounding area and Dubrovnik! Our main host even went out of her way to help me when I had be bitten by mosquitoes and almost had an allergic reaction, she got cream and allergy medicine for me!"
