Only 250 metres from the beach, Apartments Mare is located on the western part of Makarska and just 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. All apartments have a well equipped kitchen. There is a dining area in each of the apartments. All are fitted with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Most appartments also have a balcony. Guided visits to Split, Dubrovnik and Krka National Park are available upon request. Mare Apartments can also arrange boat tours and rafting trips.

"We came back after 7 years and we found it unchanged in the better sense: very clean, spacious, everything necessary at our disposal, perfectly located for our needs. The hosts were as accommodating as ever, even if they speak only Croatian (just use a translation app). Thank you and see you soon back again!"
"Makarska streets can be noisy because of scooters and other vehicles passing by in the deep silence of the night, but that is something that is generally true for all roads in town, if you prefer to sleep with windows open instead of shut and air conditioning on. That is not a minus for the property, more for the town. Just bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper."

"Excellent location, close to the beach. Very clean and comfy. They accept pets which is a huge plus. We were able to check in at 9 o`clock in the morning although the check was only at 14:00."

Located approximately 10 min walk from closest beach and coastal walk, 20 min walk from main bus station and downtown, several supermarkets and a bakery in less than 2 min walk. "The apartment is at ground floor, it is in a very quiet area but noise from passing cars may be of trouble to some. No property fault however. Otherwise, no complaints, all was fine, hosts are very nice."
