The room(s), I've been staying in the one facing the street, are well lit and comfortable even for a longer stay, offering privacy and leaving room for some exchange with the owners as well. "Everything was amazing, from each and every point of view. It's the type of accommodation you'd chose again and again. Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. The place overall and the room were not only super clean and comfortable (I literally slept like a baby, haha), but equipped with all the necessary things for a great stay. "This property and the owners, are now our favorite in Martinique. We were welcomed after a long day of travel. The owners kindly left us fruit, coffee, juice and a baguette for breakfast with the local tasty guave jam. So thoughtful. The house provided good size rooms, very comfortable Caribbean chairs, nice large bed, and wonderful outdoor seating with lush greenery, meticulously cared for, outside. To sit and have coffee and watch hummingbirds and others, while we looked at many kinds of tropical flowers was a great experience daily. Everything we wanted and needed in the house was at our fingertips. So much Martinique charm! We highly recommend to anyone visiting Martinique. And a short drive to the beaches, Jardin Balata, and top things to see on the island."

I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

This is a truly memorable home stay. We loved it and wished we had more time. Gently suggest upgrading bathroom.

"There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

It would have been great to have had a fridge in the room

"L'hotel és molt confortable. Les instal·lacions estan molt bé. Llit gros i molt còmode. L'habitació compta amb una petita nevera. El lavabo està dissenyat amb molt bon gust. Ben equipat i amb bons acabats. Un hotel familiar fet pel mateix propietari. Han estat molt hospitalaris i ens han resolt tots els nostres dubtes: un encert."

Si vas sense cotxe, has de caminar una mica per anar al centre.

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.
