"Alfa is a very friendly host who will help you with all he can without any opportunistic motives. His place is clean and welcoming. Large and tasty breakfast included. The dinner they cooked for us was absolutely delicious, we loved the Peulh cheese! And all this at a very good price - great value for money. Very funny for us Belgians to be welcomed in Dutch :-)"

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

"The location was excellent. The host was easy to contact whenever needed. I had an amazing stay and it was such good value for money. It was clean and tidy. Everything I needed. I would definitely stay there again."

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

"Marianne, værten, kom helt ud på vejen og tog imod mig, jeg blev budt på saft og der var tid til en hyggelig snak. Det er et fint sted med tekøkken, opholdsstue og skøn altan. Kommer gerne igen🤗"

Der er ikke noget dårligt at sige om dette sted, det skulle da lige være at der er dårlig internet dækning.

"Nice, clean, comfortable homestay with good facilities."

Breakfast was very meagre.

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

"M’agradat el tracte humà del Sr. Mark que fins hi tot ens ha acompanyat varies jornades a fer snorkel i conèixer l’entorn i les platges."

L’accés a la casa passa per un camí de terra amb molts sots i clots.

"El tracte per part dels anfitrions va estar genial. Molt atents a nosaltres. La Hiba ens va preparar un sopar espectactular per 10JD per persona. L'habitació estava neta i el llit era força còmode. La zona molt tranquila."

A Booking posava que l'esmorzar eren 4JD i ens van cobrar 10JD per persona. Ens va semblar bastant car, tot i que ja sabem que Jordània es un país molt car.

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

I liked it all!

Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

"Everything was amazing, from each and every point of view. It's the type of accommodation you'd chose again and again. Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. The place overall and the room were not only super clean and comfortable (I literally slept like a baby, haha), but equipped with all the necessary things for a great stay. Plus, the way the room was designed... the combination between visual art and practicality is awesome! Highly recommend! Thank you so, so much, Josie!"

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

You’re very easy going, offered delicious home made banana yoghurt bread for breakfast and for the dinner conversations also ♥️ the place was a short 8 minute walk to the bus stop and it’s very conveniently located to the supermarket also."

Be prepared if your phone has weaker signal, but that's more on the area than the hotel tbh.

"L'hotel és molt confortable. Les instal·lacions estan molt bé. Llit gros i molt còmode. L'habitació compta amb una petita nevera. El lavabo està dissenyat amb molt bon gust. Ben equipat i amb bons acabats. Un hotel familiar fet pel mateix propietari. Han estat molt hospitalaris i ens han resolt tots els nostres dubtes: un encert."

Si vas sense cotxe, has de caminar una mica per anar al centre.

"Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Superbe maison, avec une piscine fort agréable. C est près d un écrin de verdure qui apporte une fraicheur naturelle en soirée. Il y a tout ce qu il faut pour un séjour : propreté, confort, et calme. De plus, les propiétaires sont adorables et très avenants. Bref, c est une pétite!"

"The place is a pure perfection, one of the rare occassions where photos don't do the hotel justice. The cabanas are few and set in a beautiful green garden. Our cabana was beautifully decorated, there's a small kitchen with all necessary amnities, a bathroom with hot water, comfy bes and a terrace to relax on while waiting for a rain shower to pass ;) If you're a type of traveler who prefers tranquility, I urge you to stay on Carenero, while visiting Bocas del Toro. It's a short (1min, 1$) drive with a water taxi from Bocas Town and one will come to pick you up as soon as you set your foot on pier. The hotel is only 3min walk from the nearest pier."

It was perfect, by far the nicest place I've ever stayed in during my travels. Has a kind of a honeymoon vibe to it. I wish Booking offered a higher grade for places which exceed all others. 11/10 :)
