Room didn’t look exactly how it does in the pictures, but was still nice. There were a lot of mosquitoes around though and I did get bitten in the night a lot due to no mosquito net, so make sure you wear repellent. Location is on the opposite side of bikini beach and next to the prison, but as the island is so small it’s still only a 15 minute walk away from the restaurants and main beach, however something to consider.

"What an AMAZING place! The cabinas are well spaced apart and feel very private all located a in stunning and vibrant location. The wildlife is right on your porch, we saw howler monkeys’s, white faced monkeys, agouti, iguanas and lots of birds. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a day exploring Montezuma. The cabins itself was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the hammock! It was very well kitted out with everything we needed for cooking as a family of 3 and the pre chilled bottle of water in the fridge was greatly appreciated on our arrival. Location wise it is perfectly situated only 5 min away from shops and supermarkets where you can get all you need and in the pother direction (around a 3 min drive) is Montezuma, with loads of delicious places to eat and lots of stunning places to explore. We most definitely felt at home here and didn’t want to leave"

"Perfect apartment just in front of the sea and at 50 meters to your swim. Quiet, clean, big, and very good host. Yes, a little bit away from the village, 1 kilometer?, but it is just a matter of a short walk. Defenetely we do recomend it. We wish we could have staid longer Many thanks 😊"

On the second day there was a slight smell in the bathroom but nothing too serious , a little plumbing will sort that out !

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

It's a little bit far from town, but nothing that a Grab can't resolve it. The overall experience makes up for it. I wish Tam Tinh Vien the very best!"

Location is bit far away from the city if you have a car then no problem , there is free parking and the great thing is you would have lovely city view. "Amazing and chilled place to stay just a few metres from great restaurants and the main plaza. Naum is the heart and soul of the hostel. He manages everything and takes good care of everything. The dorms are basic, the kitchen well equipped and breakfast included. Would recommend it any time"

"The location just off the highway was perfect for me and I was able to book it on the travel day. There was a comfortable family vibe and the staff was extremely friendly. They made me perfect fried eggs for breakfast, served in a beautifully decorated room that had a large selection of bread, jams, cheeses, meat cuts, yoghurt, cereals, fresh juice, different kinds of coffee and tea."

The main entrance was closed at arrival, so I had to find the barn door to get in. There are parking spaces in front of the property, but if you arrive during dinner service, these might be taken by restaurant guests.

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

"Wonderful to be the only guests staying in the hotel, it felt special to have a chef come in to make our meals, which were very good. We had our dog with us sge was showing in a competition on site, she was welcomed and as we were the only guests she sat in the dining room with us. She was very relaxed and the next day came 1st in her Breed. We will return for another event soon."

Perhaps the bedroom could have been warmer.
