"Ilissos Hotel was a great base for our stay in Athens. The location is very convenient (just about 10 minutes from the Sygrou-Fix metro station) making it easy to reach both the Acropolis and the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having a terrace with views of the Acropolis. Breakfast was continental, with several options to choose from, and it was a good start to the day. Overall, a practical and pleasant stay in Athens."

"Prices at the rooftop bar are too high, the AC in the rooms is overdimensioned for such small rooms and loud like hell. Hard to find sleep with it running, impossible without. Our room wasn't properly cleaned. When we arrived there was hair all over the place. One day, the cleaning personell didn't close our door and we arrived to a room with an open door ..."
