"Quiet secluded guesthouse off the street with inner courtyard and small restaurant for residents. Many other guests working on humanitarian projects, like me. Nice encounters. Rooms with airco and fan, water boiler, soft sheets, towels changed often. Location convenient for daily taxi commute to Banjul. Supermarkets 15 minutes walking distance, minimarkets and street stalls closer by. Beach a 20 minute walk or a short taxi drive."

"We had several nights in Pelican hotel. The staff was very attentive, they offer the variaety of breakfasts, lunch and dinner - everything what we tried was delicious. The room has been cleaned every day, the wifi connection very strong. Very convenient that we could pay with card, they also accepted euros and even made the currency exchange. 20 min walking distance from the beach, there are shops around."

"I visited this residence for the third time now and again i was not disappointed. This time there was a suprise: Every morning (really every morning) a beautiful bird was knocking at my window and woke me up. I loved this morning procedure. The staff was so friendly and did all efforts to make me feel comfortable and at home. Mr. Seidou nearly read my lips and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. All staff members are working on a pleasant stay at this residence. Thank you once again !"
"The construction of the new building at the residence obviously affects the morning-view - BUT in the near future (i am very sure) it will top up the good impression about this residence. Inside the rooms it would be good to renew some facilities in the bathroom. Everything is working well, but in course of the years some things should be maintained or renewed."

The room was a good size and very comfortable. And the dinners there are delicious. It was very ideal to be able to eat a good meal just by going downstairs."
