Kombo Beach Resort

"Our waitress Ndey was doing a wonderful Job, she is Kind & Always has a Smile on the Face. The Pool area is spacious & the beach is stunning The bed was one of the Most comfortable one I've ever slept in, also the room itself was spacious & Clean. The food in ala carte Restaurant especially lamb casserole & grilled Beef Filet were outstanding while Other dishes were boring and lacked of Attention. Kombo Beach has been renovated but still has way to Go to get the best Hotel in Gambia. But it's on a good way & I Hope it will get there!"

"Music in the afternoon & evening was too noisy Other guests were able to get in the Hotel area with a daypass The food especially breakfast was really boring, Lunch and Dinner okay but nothing Special and definitly Not worth the Money. It would Help a Lot seasoning the food better & Focus on the Presentation. The local people yell at the people all the time and you can Not Set a foot on the beach without getting to know a local who wants to sell anything. They keep on chasing for the tourists which really Destroys the experience. Maybe the Hotel can Work together with Them in Future so the Situation could possibility Change. I know everyone has to earn Money but people are really spending Lots of Money for such a hotel & don't want to get put under pressure all the time."

"It was a nice resort, restaurant food was ok, breakfast was good but not much selection, pool is nice, quiet because it was in the off season, at the weekend was always full because of the Gambians who came for the Buffet and to swim. All in all a nice place with lovely employees, the life music with the saxophone guy was amazing! WiFi was really good."

"The rooms need a bit cosmetic work, the glasses at breakfast could be cleaner, apart from this minor things, it is a nice place. Too many strayed animals and the cats at breakfast and dinner was not good!"

"The property was nice, the workers here were really friendly, the rooms were cleaned every day and the towels were also change daily. The pool was clean and always cleaned in the morning before guests are up. Breakfast was good!"
