"A convenient location.We felt very safe & were well looked after.Our room was spacious,clean and the use of kitchen facilities was a bonus. "Food was great and reasonably priced. The location, in terms of access, wasn´t that easy, but once there the site is amazing, like being in the middle of a bird sanctuary. I made use of a bicycle and went to the coast almost directly behind Gunjur and that was amazing too. The guy who seemed to be in charge, Sherrifo (¿) was really friendly, to the extent of spotting birds that I couldn´t see. This is more like the real Gambia than Senegambia!"

"All the staff were very friendly from the chaps on the gate to the cleaners and ground maintenance men. The apartment was very spacious and the bed was massive and very comfy. There is loads of out door areas to relax, the pool area was clean with an attendant there throughout the day who supplied towels for the sunbeds. Easy access to the beach. The apartment has 2 large balconies with a table and chairs on one. They have a tour guide onsite who organised all our outings for a good price and arranged a taxi for us to call on whenever we needed him."

"It was already a excitement journey to come there. The lodge is located next to the beach, and next to a beautiful nature “ park”. Sheriffo the manager did all, more then all to make us happy ! He really took good care of us, I never had that experience in other lodges in the Gambia!"
