"Being able to check in when our boat arrived shortly after 8 am and also check out after 1 when our boat was due to leave was huge, especially since there was no extra charge. The owner also kindly arranged a taxi at the requested time. Our room was very large with a separate living area that included a desk. We had lovely views of the town from three large windows. There was a shared kitchen that we ended up having to ourselves because there was no one else there. There were huge numbers of dishes silverware, lots of spices, and an adequate number of pots."

"The room and kitchen needed a deep cleaning: the windows were filthy, some of the knives had been put away still dirty, dirty kitchen washing sponges, and towels from the previous guest were still hanging up in the bathroom. Luckily, I noticed before the fellow left who checked us in had left (never to be seen again) that the light in the bathroom didn't work, and not did the soap dispenser. He promptly fixed them army request. The owner needs to throw out some of the ancient fry pans that were dangerous to use. Also need a pair of oven mitts."

"Das Zimmer war gut geheizt, sauber und groß. Betten sehr bequem. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Gastfreundschaft und das wir noch länger im Zimmer bleiben konnten bis zu unserer Abreise. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen."
