"This review is actually for Hans Egede Hotel! I had booked HHE Express, its low(er)-budget partner, but on check-in was told I had been upgraded to Hans Egede (500 m up the street) as they were full. Hans Egede was great, certainly the best place in Nuuk. Very spacious, comfortable room with a real double bed which is quite rare in Scandinavia. Great breakfast with a view on the fifth floor (were there is also a good and rather classy and pricey Steakhouse restaurant). Only experience with HHE Express was staff at reception which was great, as in Hans Egede as well. Don't know what the usual rate would have been."
