"The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel overall is very well maintained. The internet connection was excellent and very reliable throughout my stay. The staff were generally kind and welcoming — Ghanaians are truly some of the warmest and most kind-hearted people you can meet."
"Service at the restaurant and bar was very slow, and food took a long time to arrive. The kitchen overall seemed understaffed or inefficient. It also felt like tips were automatically expected as part of the exchange, which was uncomfortable. The gym staff had an unfriendly attitude. At the beach, towels were not readily available and guests had to walk back to collect them personally. The beach itself was unfortunately dirty, with plastic bags and debris visible. Nothing the hotel could do about it. However the sandy beach in hotel part could be improved with proper daily cleaning and the use of beach-cleaning rolling machines. The breakfast selection was more limited than expected, and the menu did not vary much during my stay. Some room features, such as the mirror, were outdated and starting to deteriorate around the edges. There was also a large pipeline passing through the pond area of the hotel, which affected the overall aesthetic."

"The other side of the property was outdated and seemed as though I was staying in a cheap apartment. It smelt quite damp and I could see mosquitoes in the room. A huge disappointment was when I was leaving there was a man called Daniel who claimed to work for the labadi. He charged 200 cede from Labadi to La Palm. I felt ripped off and that was disappointing. For a 1 min drive."
"The Hotel is a very nice, upon first impressions was very clean and presented very well to us as first time visitors. The room we had was great and the facilities such as the Air Conditioning , Fridge , TV worked well. Our room was always cleaned very well. The staff were very friendly. The facilities of the hotel were excellent, Breakfast was good with a nice range of food and the Dinners service was excellent a with a great range of food and drinks on the menu. The food dishes that i had were excellent , very tasty and cooked well. We used the SPA service and had a massage at a reasonable price and was excellent. The Gym and surrounding area of the SPA was nice . The pool area was nice , well maintained.. The grounds of the hotel are also well maintained. The staff provided and excellent service. Will definitely stay again."
"In terms of value for money the price appeared considerably high for just bed & breakfast only compared to hotels of the same standards 4/5 star that we have frequented on our trips around the globe. With the price being what it is, we thought they may be an option to upgrade to all inclusive by paying an additional fee but the hotel does not offer All inclusive so we paid for our meals and drinks through out our stay. As this is our first time as visitors to Ghana and this hotel as a couple from the UK we found that the hotel is dedicated primarily to facilitate conferences and seminar events rather than the main stay holiday clients. Hence, it is very busy with many commercial visitors who share the same facilities. This is apparent when such events take place, it can affect the services provided to the guest as many of the staff in the three restaurants are utilised to accommodate and facilitate the events. Some visitors seemed to be VIPs as there was a presence of armed police. The guest should be informed of such events and who is in the hotel to provide reassurance. The hotel boasts a private beach but unfortunately the beach section is not appealing to the hotel guests as there are no facilities on the beach to use such as sun loungers and also no security to protect guest from harassment from the local street vendors. We had a bad experience on the beach where we were bombarded by a number of different vendors trying to sell their goods and were not taking no for an answer .They were intimidating and we had to go back to the grounds of the hotel. We never attended the beach again. We also observed during our stay that many street vendors had access to the hotel areas such as the Bar ,Restaurant and the lounge to sell their goods which proved troublesome for some guests. The street vendors should be provided with a designated area of the hotel on fixed days to sell their goods."
