"The apartment is clean, with a big and comfortable bathroom, and you can find most of the necessities there. Not far away from the railway station. Next to the house where the apartment is located, there's a hotel called Ozurgeti Plaza, with a wonderful restaurant open for everyone: a nice place with cheap and so yummy local dishes. There's a kind of gazebo right opposite the entrance, a good place to sit, smoke and chat in the evening outside. The street isn't very busy, so the cars' noise won't bother you."
"A large-scale reconstruction of the water supply system is ongoing throughout the town, resulting in regular water supply shutdowns every day from midnight to 6 am, as well as up to four periodic shutdowns during the day with an unpredictable schedule. So when we arrived (5 persons, including a kid), we were unable either to have a shower, to drink water, or to use the toilet. It was awful! Of course, the owner is not responsible for the actions of the city government, but he must definitely WARN the guests about such conditions, especially during the summer season! Also, there's no air conditioning there. There's a microwave oven, but it has a British plug and I couldn't find a UK-EU adapter to turn it on, so it was useless. Something is leaking in the bathroom, so even if you take a shower very accurately, you'll need to collect water from the floor. Last evening, a light bulb burned out in one of the rooms. I tried to find something to replace: there were several bulbs on the shelves, all burned out. It all makes an impression that the owner doesn't take care of the apartment too much."
"This is a quiet building with a family atmosphere. It’s a little dated but the caretaker keeps it SO CLEAN— it’s a sweet little place. The owner is very easy to communicate with. Plan to pay in local currency/cash."
"There isn’t anything negative to say about the apartment- it’s a family style apartment that is nicely kept. A few notes: There is no hairdryer so plan to bring one if you need it. Also, the microwave doesn’t work (or we couldn’t figure out how to make it work) but the kitchen is well stocked with a nice working stovetop and all the pots and dishes you need."
"We enjoyed the family atmosphere and overall quietness of this part of the city. It’s a small city but this is a good location. There is plenty of sunshine in the morning and evening hours. The young woman who manages the property lives downstairs and was helpful with the few odd requests we had while there."
"There’s very little not to like- this is not a resort, it’s a private residence so our expectations were met. We’d definitely stay here again. There are a few appliance issues which the owner is looking to address- nothing major."
