A 30-minute drive from Birmingham International and Coventry airports, The Throckmorton is set in the tranquil Warwickshire countryside. The Throckmorton is surrounded by picturesque footpaths, which you can reach by crossing the river from the hostal grounds. Coughton Court, the National Trust property, is 5 minutes’ walk away. The bar serves a range of wines, beers and spirits from around the world, and there is a selection of real local ales to choose from. Breakfast is served every morning, with a cooked breakfast and Continental options available.

The staff are so friendly, the rooms are well presented and have good amenities, there's a good choice for breakfast and it's good value. What more do you need?! "I wish there was a lounge to relax in with a fire! Central heating was difficult to control for us, the first room was too hot and the staff couldn't turn it down, so they moved us to a family room. Large but nice. Otherwise all good"
