"Nice breakfast/restaurant area. Service was quite slow, but friendly. Drinks/bar were enjoyable. Food in restaurant looked initially good. The Deli shop was delightful and Cafe. Brewery also impressive. The room was also initially impressive until you stayed in it. Eg. Not enough lighting, too dark for reading and putting on makeup, bed switches so far away had to get up to turn All of them off. Not enough seating. One creaky uncomfortable chair for two of us. We didn't enjoy the stay as it wasn't designed for comfort and ease. Just looked good, unfortunately for us."

"Food in restaurant/pub was limited and not cooked fully for one of us. Eg. Fish dish was undercooked. Sunday roast beef was awful, chewy, stringy tasteless. Disappointed as it was our last night."

"Loved the decor, facilities and comfort. Our room was next to the road but room was quiet. Bed super comfortable and bathroom was amazing! Stayed in the twin Tinhead room. Fabulous!"

"I chose the location for a nearby music festival. Lunch upon arrival was excellent and fairly priced. Service also excellent - the staff were a real highlight. Room was spacious and clean, and shower pressure really strong."

"Beautiful village location. Food excellent. Breakfast delicious and locally sourced. Room and entire place thoughtfully kitted out with taste and attention to detail. We loved the shared sitting room space and the ease of having a space to relax that was not the pub or our bedroom, Guests are Very well provided from Rubin all respects."

"With windows open, we were close to road noise but this was only an issue in the morning. Bathroom ( private) was adjoining room but, with so few rooms, we did not encounter other guests."

"Excellent food at breakfast, the buffet at the private function we attended there was also excellent, the staff were all charming and efficient. A problem with there being no draught bitter available in the brewery function space was solved with the server bringing over jugs of it from the pub ad hoc!"
