Overlooking South Beach in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, The Esplanade offers cooked breakfasts and traditional bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The Esplanade has wonderful sea views across Carmarthen Bay. The cosy rooms at The Esplanade are individually decorated and each has a private bathroom. All rooms have a TV, hairdryer, telephone and tea and coffee facilities. Some have four-poster beds and impressive views. Full English breakfasts are served daily in the balneari urbàcious dining room, with light continental options also available. The Esplanade has a well-stocked bar, offering a range of beverages and snacks, and there is a range of taula gastronòmicas just a short walk away. With direct access to the sandy beach, The Esplanade is located in Tenby centre, just 10 minutes’ walk from Tenby Railway Station. Pembroke centre and Pembroke Docks are a 20-minute drive, and Saundersfoot is 10 minutes’ drive away.

"This is in a fantastic location, our room was off to the side but could still see the sea from our room. The ladies who work here are super polite and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Super easy check in and was treated with a modern and spotless room. Breakfast was tasty and well worth the value for money"
"We did find the walls a little thin and on the second night was kept up and woken up early by the dog upstairs. Whilst I agree on keeping pets in rooms I would think better about the planning and ideally keep them on a bottom floor furthest away from other guests This site also does not have parking, there is free parking around the venue on little side streets and you may need to drive around for a while to locate it. We struggled arriving on Saturday afternoon but on Sunday we could of parked much closer. Not the venues fault at all"

"We visited on the first day of the season and were upgraded to a four-poster room. Amazing! The room was really lovely - fantastic and uninterrupted view of the sea, clean and nicely decorated, a beautiful comfy bed and an enormous TV with access to lots of on-demand channels (BBC iPlayer, ITVX, etc). Everything you could need for a comfortable stay - room was lovely and warm, and there was tea/coffee/chocolate and biscuits too! The location of the hotel is spot on - right next to the medieval town walls. It was a lovely calm afternoon and we stretched our legs along The Esplanade, watched a stunning sunset, wandered along the path overlooking North Beach to the Harbour and then up through the town. Lovely and quiet on a Sunday in February. After a couple of drinks and a nice meal, wandered back to the hotel, to enjoy the lovely room and catch up on a little TV time. Left for our onward journey the following morning, happy and rested."
"The shower in our room did not have much oomph at all - which I suspect was the water pressure so not the hotel's fault. This was a very small thing though and didn't spoil our wonderful stay."
