"I guess more choice at breakfast, particularly being gluten free but the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and gluten free cornflakes (my favourite) filled me up great My partner said he would have liked the option of a full English / similar 🙊😂 Note to disabled travellers - there are 8 or so steps up to the hotel at the front and the lift is quite small. They may have a ramp for the steps but fortunately I managed without my wheelchair"
"Perfect stay in a beautiful historic building with an amazing view of the castle. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a lovely view. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful building, with a library and lounge/ bar. Very grand stair case. Large breakfast room with a selection of continental and cooked food. The cooked breakfasts were very good. Our room was 4th floor (attic) which wasn't a problem for me (although I couldn't see the lovely view of the castle through the velux windows), but was a little awkward for my 6 foot partner- he couldn't even sit up in bed. Having said that the room was nice, the bathroom a good size, the bed comfortable and was all very clean. Good location."
