"One night stop on our return from S France to the UK. This is a once very grand house in a large village. While the building looks rather sad from the outside, the inside is much better. Bedrooms and breakfast rooms have been kept up to an excellent standard, with good if slightly dated bathrooms. There is a small kitchen (fridge, microwave, etc) on the top floor for the use of residents if you want to bring your own food. Breakfast was really a nice continental DIY one. Dogs were welcome but there are ducks and chickens wandering around so be careful. There isn't much to do in the village for food etc - a pizza takeaway but not much else. Excellent value for money."

"Really good lively location, surrounded by a huge selection of restaurants, bistros, bars and transport links. Apartment was very clean and in a nice building. We were very comfortable for our stay. Good instructions sent by the owners to gain access, and they were also responsive when we contacted them. Well equipped kitchen and the washing machine was useful. Really nice shower in the main bedroom. Overall comparatively good value."

"If you are looking to escape the pressures of modern life then this is the place for you. The house is superb in every way, well equipped, clean and comfortable, yet retaining a bucolic tranquility that is only enhanced by the spectacular garden. Indeed you are free to wander amongst bowers and concealed plots planted with a fine range of trees and shrubs - spring, when the floral display is at its finest would, I would say, be a fabulous time to stay. Carol is a lovely host who offers plenty of suggestions for visits locally. This is, altogether, a wonderful place, and one that we hope to visit again."
