"Our room was the one that is positioned behind the parasol in the photo. The first impression on arrival at the property was “Oh” as it looks a bit dingy from the outside but as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover. Once you go through the arch and into the property it is a different world. We were welcomed most enthusiastically and told as it was baking hot, to dump our case and get into the lovely pool. We obliged! The room was fine but the bathroom was “compact” but it served its purpose. Our bed was extremely comfortable and a fan was provided as it was so hot. It is easy to walk into the centre of the town - 10 minutes and there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was taken by the pool with bread, croissants, cheese, meat and fruit and lovely coffee. Very nice. We both said that we would stay again because the welcome was friendly."

"It is nothing the property owner can do, but parking could be a problem. It is on-street payant. We were there overnight so it wasn’t a problem but you might need to check for a longer stay"

"Maria is very kind and welcoming! The pool was refreshing and the garden was nice to relax after the hustle of the city. Our room was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Montpellier old town is at walking distance. Would love to come back!"

"Marie is a marvellous host who puts you at ease & makes your stay effortless. A delicious breakfast awaits you each morning at a time of your convenience & the room & estate is spotlessly clean & well maintained. Location is great, a 15 minute walk to the centre of the city & 8 minutes walk from the rail station. There are also plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. If we’re ever in Montpellier again we would not hesitate to book here as our top choice of places to stay in the city."
