"The apartment is cozy, modern and has everything one needs for "living a local". We really recommend this apartment for any single/couple traveler that prefers an accommodation in a quite neighbourhood and that feels more of a "real home" and less of a "hotel room". The apartment is well designed and with the best and clearer instructions I ever found in any accommodation, it was easy to check-in/out, find our way and explore some (food) gems around the apartment! Being outside the main city centre but at a single train/tram distance from it is definitely a big plus! The host is amazing and extremely helpful since it helped us whenever we needed."
"Nothing regarding the apartment! For completeness, there are constructions going on the Les Ardoines train station which might momentarily affect transport. They are building a new metro line which, in the future, will make the apartment even easier to reach!"

"Nach dem Betreten des abgewohnten Treppenhauses wird man mit einer kleinen sehr hübschen, voll ausgestatteten und liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung überrascht. Der Name "The Pearl" ist wirklich passend. Die Wohnung ist echt schön."

La disponibilidad y amabilidad del anfitrión, que contestó a nuestras dudas muy rápidamente. "Quirky centuries old building perfectly located on the Orb River. We arrived at 10pm after a short 10-minute walk from the station in light drizzle. Mark the host was very accommodating at this late hour. We gasped at the view when we opened the bedroom balcony door to a beautifully lit up bridge. Loved our one night here. Our hosts Ben and Mark were lovely (Mark talks a lot more than me!!). Lots of very interesting dustables scattered around. Breakfast was good and served in a pretty quaint room. It's not a far walk up the steep hill to Saint-Nazaire Cathedral and Les Halles de Beziers food hall. Lots of restaurants a few minutes' walk away. Sharon & Duncan Kommetjie Cape Town South Africa"

We could park our car right next to the accommodation which made access easy and the accommodation was ideal for cooking family meals with a generous fridge, stove an oven and a dishwasher with cleaning products well stocked. "We stayed for 2 nights in late October around Halloween. Firstly, the breakfast is to die for - living up to the ‘Gourmande’ title! The selection of confits & baked goods were my personal highlights. The room was perfect with a separate bathroom and a bed that you don’t want to get up from in the morning. Quiet yet handy location just outside Caen but a short drive to Bayeux. Stefan was a wonderful host with his fluffy canine companion. We will definitely want to come back next time!"
