"The reception staff were incredibly lovely, very welcoming and chatty. Our room was perfect with a nice bathroom, coffee machine and mini bar. It's located very centrally which is good, short walks to restaurants and shops which was ideal for us!!"

"Personal welcome, everything was foreseen for the first couple of days, even some basic food package. The hosts were extremely friendly without being intrusive. They were ready to answer all our questions but respected our personal space. In the apartment, all local info (maps, sightseeing tips,...) were present."

"We liked the position of the hotel on the corner of a town, car parking behind and we were offered a garage for our motorbike. The room size was OK, the bed was very comfy. Basic French breakfast. The restaurant was not open when we stayed, so we walked down the high street and found a bar and then a fantastic pizza on the way back."

"What a lovely visit - we wish we had time for another night or two! The staff at this family run property were really friendly and welcoming from the start. We had a delicious dinner featuring local ingredients so congratulations to the chef! It was really nice being at a place with a pool, a good cocktail list and a high end restaurant - in the middle of the mountains. Seems like a great area to explore with hiking trails in summer and skiing in the winter at your doorstep. We had a family size room which worked out perfectly for the three of us including a little balcony. Breakfast was also well prepared and it was nice having our namecard on the table - made us feel welcome again. I can imagine this would be a great place to hold an event as it has the infrastructure (including the pool, badminton, outdoor sitting areas) and is big enough but still has that family feel. "Clean and comfortable apartment with all the facilities we needed to enjoy the weekend. A few welcome gifts including a local Lille beer in the fridge. Easy comms with the host. Easy to find and free car park directly opposite the apartment. Easy to travel into Lille city centre with the good public transport connections."

"The host went out of his way to inform myself and my children about ideas for hikes and other activities in the area. He even left a piece of local cheese for us to enjoy. The accommodation is perfect for parents and one or two children and the local area has lots to offer in terms of outdoor activities and locally produced food. The "cascade des Hérissons' is one of my favourite trails to do with kids - with scenery reminiscent of the King Arthur stories."
