"Great location with access to free carpark over the river (3 minute easy walk). Apartment was fairly well-equipped for cooking. Could walk everywhere around Brantôme including the local boulangerie. (très important!)."

"Hot water ran out during 2nd shower on both mornings. This was despite turning up the heating on the water tank. Upstairs neighbour made a bit of noise but wasn’t too distracting."

"Compact but clean and nicely decorated accommodation for a short stay. Easy walking distance to all the amenities and restaurants, making it ideal for our needs in Brantome. The town itself is lovely and we enjoyed several pleasant countryside walks, courtesy of the free walk info. given to us at the Tourist Information Office when we stopped off there to enquire."

"Nothing to dislike. The accommodation, as the name suggests, is cosy, ie quite compact but we knew that and found it entirely suitable for our stay."

"Beautiful ground floor unit, close to town and very quiet. Well equipped. Helpful, responsive host. A gorgeous little town well worth a visit."

"Not a great problem but the ventilation fan for the toilet is noisy. It’s activated by turning on the toilet light and takes a very long time to switch off. My advice is just don’t turn on the toilet light. The toilet is in the bathroom so that particular light isn’t needed."

"It's not immediately obvious that you must close the external wooden doors if you need privacy, as there is no curtain on the front glass doors."

"Everything! The studio was immaculate with all the latest equipment in the kitchen area - hob, microwave oven and refrigerator. The shower room was excellent and the double bed so comfortable, we slept the whole night through. We'll worth your consideration and within 2 minutes walk of the town centre. An ideal base for visiting other attractions."

"On first sight of the building it looked a bit derelict, but don't judge the book by its cover. This building is classified as historic and the exterior is due for a face-lift in the near future."
