"This was a very special place: in appearance as if you had arrived back in the nineteenth century ! Yet the facilities were actually up to date, 21st century. Our room was spacious, dust free and the beds very comfortable. Rather than the ghosts that we first half expected due to the decor, we found peaceful rest (the chapel bells stop ringing at 23:00 in case anyone would be bothered by them). The owners were most attent and helpful and interested in sharing the history of the place with us."

"Very friendly hosts, charming location. Family suite has two separate bedrooms and private bathroom with tub. Air conditioning is a big plus, being in the upstairs room in the summer! We arrived on the later side, hosts helped us to find a pizzeria nearby, highly recommend them as well!"
"The church bells across the street start ringing at 6 AM. Not the hosts' fault, but I hadn't planned on waking up that early. We shared a sofa bed as it was the biggest, it wasn't the most comfortable. Kids slept great on the mattresses. We noticed a slight musty smell in one of the rooms."
