"Amazing location on top floor of an old building right in the historic old town, directly overlooking the Palais de L’Ile. You can throw open the doors and watch the people passing below (and for us it was snowing one day which was magical!). Very close to shops, restaurants, markets, castle, lake etc - couldn’t be better! Ten min walk from train station through the old town. Apartment was very spacious, clean, secure and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable - we slept very well here. Wifi was fantastic. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. Very happy with our 8 night stay!"

"Very steep stairs (like a ladder) from the living area up to the bedroom area. Fine for us (holding on the the rails) but would not suit someone with mobility issues."

"Great location looking out over canal. Plenty of restaurants, close to markets. 10 minute walk from train station. Excellent Wi-Fi , Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy access and good communication with host."

"The location is absolutely fantastic! Right in the centre of the old town. Bed was super comfortable. It was clean and welcoming on arrival. Kettle, toaster, coffee machine, cooker, dishwasher, microwave etc. everything you need really. Dishwasher tablets and two coffee pods were provided. We didn’t use any cooking facilities as we were only there for a short stay but if we’d been there longer I’d have bought fresh produce from the market that’s held on a Thurs, Fri and Sun and would have cooked every day. Showers had great pressure and nice and warm."

"It’s close to other buildings and some people are a little unaware of the noise they make when coming and going and I’m a light sleeper so it woke me up. I used earplugs the second night and was grand. Not the properties fault but I’d take them if you’re a light sleeper. Both of these were fine for us but the steps to the bedroom are super steep and it’s in the third floor so if you’re less mobile it may be a bit of an issue. However there is a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs (both with toilets) so you don’t have to clamber about at night."

"Amazing location. Above lots of restaurants so food smells in the dark hallway. But once you are in it is the perfect home from home - loved the cosy sitting area, and two bathrooms!"

"Fabulous location and really comfortable accommodation. In the morning, throw open the windows and hear hundreds of birds and see the light bouncing around everywhere. Place looks like something out of a fairytale. Two bathrooms and two toilets - fabulous. Comfortable bed. Owner was incredibly helpful - made it really easy to find the place. Only a two-night stay in mid-June, but I'd go back in a heartbeat."

"Nothing, really . It's true there are steep, steep stairs to the bedroom, but it's not really an issue as there's a good handrail and a bathroom upstairs."
