"Close to the castle. Perfect place to stay after or before the visit to the castle. Amazing restaurant, I had delicious foie gras mi-cuit fait maison. Excellent communication with the owner about time of arrival. Absolutely calm at night."

"The owner was super-welcoming and helpful, and adapted the breakfast when he discovered I needed a gluten-free option. Really comfortable kingsize bed in a spacious room, with efficient air-conditioning. Great location within walking distance of the chateau, which meant that we could visit first thing in the morning and avoid the crowds."
"Although there was a bar/restaurant on-site, it was unfortunately not open when we visited, and we only found this out on the day of arrival. Neither were most of the other restaurants within walking distance, as it turned out, so we struggled to find somewhere suitable for dinner."

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas compris mais du thé, du café, du lait et du jus d’orange sont à disposition. Une excellente adresse, à deux pas du château de Chenonceau, que nous recommandons vivement !"

"The property is in a beautiful, rural location but with a great pub and cafe (plus a baguette machine!) just around the corner. We were able to really wind down in such a peaceful setting with fabulous views both day and night (fields all around by day and by (clear) night, able to see the Milky Way as there's very little light pollution). Our two teenagers loved hanging out in the private, heated pool and we enjoyed sitting under one of the three gazeboes' in the evening, lit with fairy lights, listening to music provided by the supplied Alexa. Eddie & Joan are wonderful, friendly hosts, providing two bottles of wine and some other tasty essentials upon our arrival. We couldn't have asked for lovier people to host and we would love to return again to play boule in the garden, visit more markets and see if the chickens have laid any eggs for us! This has got to be one of, if not the best family holiday we've ever had so thank-you!"

"We (2 adults + 2 teenagers + 1 dog) spent 11 nights during winter holiday (xmas + new year) at the property. Location of this apartment is excellent. It will beat every single disadvantage. It was on quiet place but still close to city center (1.5km walk). Parking either in front of apartment or 200m away on big public parking. Apartment is on ground floor, but we still could see sea while cooking. For those who don't cook there is restaurant next door with even better view on sea :) Endless walk / run / bike possibilities in December."
