"This is a stunning location on Marseille’s oceanfront Corniche for tranquil sunset views over mountains and islands. There is not another hotel with this situation in the city. Well designed, with a Philippe Starck modern style decor, and very comfortable beds, linen and bathrooms. Well kept grounds with garden features - a rarity in Marseille! The saltwater outdoor pool, bar and sunbathing deck was fabulous. La Corniche (coast road) is the best running location in the city, right on your doorstep. We ate from the bar’s afternoon tapas menu which was excellent quality and great value (cheese and charcuterie), and looked better than the standard items on the expensive restaurant menu. Would happily return. It’s about 12 mins to centre of town in an uber, easily available. Hats bakery a 15 minute walk is really top notch food, not your average bakery. We got breakfast there to eat on Prophete beach."
"The main hotel bar closed early (midnight?), which looks to be due to rooms situated directly below, but it had an inviting vibe that wanted you to be able to stay up late for a quiet drink with friends as there are no bars directly nearby, so that was a shame. I liked the black corridor interiors, but the floor based wayfinding (room numbering) is unsuccessful and should be put back on the wall."
"Amazing that the hotel is situated on a spring of natural water, that is embedded to the interior design of the hotel and the Spa had this water. They said that pool as well, but smelled chlorine in it. The pool staff and the lobby staff were amazing. Had water melon and water stands for free to enjoy. The parking service was approachable and easy to access."
"I did not like that there was no access to the sea salty water, or that there was no pool using the sea salt water. Stayed just one night so not much to say."
