Set between the sea and Golf de Biarritz - Le Phare, Mer et Golf Loisirs offers self-catering accommodation with a espai de relaxació and an outdoor swimming pool. "The ocean view was lovely! The reception staff was friendly. Be careful getting in and out of the shower because it was weirdly high up and I almost fell. This hotel has a good value for your money, but you get what you pay for so don’t be expecting the ritz. The other bad reviews are pretty funny and I wouldn’t say accurate to the hotel."

"The hotel is located on a beautiful coastline. Our room was big enough and despite our balcony was facing to a golf filed instead of the ocean we enjoyed it very much. It's 25 minutes walk from Biarritz center but there is a bus stop next to the hotel from you can go either to Biarritz or Bayonne. In the room there was a small kitchen with a lot of different cuttlery so you can prepare a simple breakfast or dinner if you would like to. It was a very good value to it's price. There is a nice bar with ocean view in front of the hotel."
"We had to ask for a coffe and tea set for the breakfasts and another set for cleaning the dishes at the reception. Why don't they provide these automatically? The furnitures and the design of the room is a little but outdated."
