"Etienne was the perfect host and the house and its surroundings were lovely. Our room was spacious and airy, with a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect for visiting Avignon and surrounding villages, remote but accessible. Barbentane is very pretty. Very nice breakfast with Etienne changing the selection each day, pancakes, cakes, local sweet bread as well as the usual jams, yogurts, breads and croissants. Tres bien x"

"Étienne was an exceptionally attentive host, offering helpful recommendations each morning during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, we loved the simple yet delightful surprises Étienne added each day—whether it was freshly picked figs from the garden or local sweets from a nearby shop. The local apple juice was also a delightful treat that we greatly appreciated. If you’re looking for something different and better than the standard guesthouse breakfast, this is the place to be. We also appreciated the common area, which is equipped with a kitchen and a fridge for storing groceries. We initially thought we were just paying for the room, but Étienne has thoughtfully provided these extra amenities, which is fantastic! The hosts have a great love for design and support local artists by tastefully displaying their work throughout the guesthouse—a really nice touch. The peaceful garden in a very quiet area, free from any noise pollution, is truly a gem."

"Our host was attentive , informative and gave us good advise. He went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable and the bonus was his wonderful pool that we were able to enjoy . His guest house was beautifully decorated and his breakfasts were amazing with homemade jams and pancakes and the menu changed every day. I would most definitely stay there again in the relaxing , peaceful environment . The rooms were very generous in size and the beds were very comfortable ."

The breakfast, prepared with so much care by the host, was a highlight of our mornings - truly enjoyable. Also, the black cat was absolutely adorable ! So comfortable. Highly recommended."
