"This is an exceptional place. A real gem in rural France. A huge bedroom that was a double when we walked in but quickley changed to a twin that I had requested. The bathroom was bigger than a lot of hotel bedrooms I have stayed in. Excellent shower. Double aspect bedroom with nice views over open country. The family run place is only a couple of years in business . Clearly a big investment has paid off. Breakfast, that was the best in our entire tour taking in nine hotels. Staff that could not do enough for you. Open air swimming pool in a nice setting . The property is in grounds of several acres of mown lawn. We took advantage of having an evening meal that was excellent. Served in a seperate dining room to the breakfast room (different ambiance) Ample free parking and free wifi. 10/10 a pleasure to stay at your property"

"L'ensemble du Mas est très joli mais ça manque d'unité. Les thèmes safari ne sont pas forcément très adapté au lieu. Si c'est un parti pris, il aurait fallu l'exploiter alors complètement sur l'ensemble de la décoration de l'établissement."

"The room (actually a small house) is sooooo beautiful, very spaceous, very clean, full of delughtful details which show all the love Brigitte and Oscar put into them. The bathroom is amazing, the shower is a piece of art. This accomodation, honoring the past and the present, is a beyond beautiful and confortable place to stay. We had breakfat outside, in a gorgeous garden, a very good french breakfast, with local bread, croissants, confiture, very tasty. Brigitte and Oscar are wonderful people, they warmly welcomed us, they helped us with anything we needed. And we love their cute cat Ramses, although he is shy with stragers. The location of the property is so close of Vieux Bassin, it's very quiet and safe. For us as a couple, there was a dream come true."
