Located in Paris city centre, Mandarin Oriental, Paris is a 1930s palace mansió located in a historic building from the 30s. It offers an indoor landscaped garden, a 900 m² espai de relaxació area and a gourmet cuina d'autor awarded with 2 Michelin stars. It boasts a minimalist décor inspired by haute couture and renowned fashion houses. Parisian elegance joins Oriental refinement in the rooms and suites, which each have a unique décor. Tea and coffee making facilities, hair straighteners and a spacious bathroom feature in each accommodation and some of the suites also have a terrace and a panoramic view over Paris. The allotjament offers a bar with a terrace and 2 restaurants, firstly the Camélia, where you can sample simple dishes prepared with fresh produce all day long and secondly the Sur Mésure Univers Culinari serving 5 to 9-course gourmet meals in a design atmosphere. A counter selling patisserie cakes is available on site. Several types of breakfast are available each morning including Chinese and Japanese options. A welcome drink is also offered upon arrival. Set on 2 levels, the balneari urbà and wellness centre is complete with an indoor pool, a steam room and santuari de relax suites with private steam shower and changing room. In this peaceful setting, a wide range of Mandarin Oriental Signature Guerlain® facial and body treatments can also be enjoyed. Other facilities include a fitness centre, valet and concierge service, as well as meeting and banquet facilities with dedicated staff. Additional items such as a laptop, PlayStation 3®, children's high chair and DVD player can be provided upon request. Mandarin Oriental, Paris is ideally located 150 metres from the elegant Place Vendome, 250 metres from the Tuileries Garden and just a 10-minute walk from the famous Champs Elysées.

"This hotel is excellently located in a beautiful area of the city very close to the Place Vendome. The service in this hotel was exceptional and the best Mandarin oriental that I have ever stayed in. Nothing was ever to much trouble and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy with everything from check in, drinks in the bar, remembering our names, outstanding breakfast again with great staff. A particular mention to the door staff who remembered our names and what plans we had for the day, even taking our shopping to the room for us. We will definitely be back!"

"The location is great, near a quite remote hamlet with great views on the surrounding landscape. The yurts are very nice (all come from Mongolia), each is unique and there is plenty of space around each one for privacy. The hosts can serve dinner, in which case they bring dinner directly to your yurt, to enjoy on a table installed outside, in front of your yurt. The food is home-made, from fresh products and very tasty. The breakfast was good, on the terrace of the main building (reception+kitchen). The hosts are amazingly friendly and more than willing to share their love for the place."
