"Après avoir consulté de nombreux appartements en ligne, j'ai choisi celui-ci et j'ai été ravi. Le casier à clés est très pratique. Cet appartement est adapté à tous, y compris aux personnes à mobilité réduite et aux cyclistes. Situé au rez-de-chaussée, deux fenêtres donnent sur la rue, offrant une vue magnifique. Deux fenêtres fermées permettent d'être silencieux. Tous les équipements de base sont à disposition. Une rue piétonne avec de nombreuses boutiques de marques est à deux minutes à pied. Si vous aimez le shopping, c'est le choix idéal.👍👍😀😀"

"We stayed overnight walking the Chemin de Compostelle. Staying at Les Chaumes Violettes was the perfect place. The facilities in the house are outstanding, spacious, ultra clean & well thought out. The location is wonderfully tranquil & quiet, overlooking farmland & countryside - yet it is only 1.5km outside Cluis. Dinner & breakfast are available at extra cost, we had both: definately well worth having; good value. Dinner was fantastic, a beautifully cooked 3 course meal eaten with the family (a lovely experience), everything sourced either from their own garden or very close by. Various friendly animals to befriend of all sorts in & around the garden! But more than anything, the genuine, friendly, hospitable owners made our stay truly memorable. Thank you!"

"Very well converted 18th Century building. Well thought out layout. Central location close to the village centre and the lake and excellent self catering facilities. The information booklet on arrival was in French but managed to easily work it out with help from google translate in places. Good facilities for self catering. No aircon but it was 32C during our visit and with solid stone walls and high ceilings we felt cool inside. We enjoyed our short stay (en route to Switzerland) and can recommend"
