"Nice, comfortable hotel in lovely grounds. We had a small balcony which was rather nice. The hotel has a Michelin star restaurant which is excellent and a more informal restaurant which was very good as well. The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and friendly."
"Breakfast was very nice, no buffet, but there was a very limited choice which didn’t vary during our stay. A wider choice would have been nice. The bathroom led off the bedroom and didn’t have a door, just a flimsy slide along panel, which was a bit strange."

"It is a charming, beautifully-located and very stylish hotel, with very interesting decor incorporating first - rate works of art; tapestries reminiscent of the work of Jean Lurcat, and original sculptures, all beautifully presented. It is in a quiet location, has an excellent swimming pool and good restaurants. The staff are charming and helpful. The Informel restaurant near the pool is a very good place for a simple, high-quality meal."
"It is a pity that no tea- making facilities in bedrooms, or complimentary bottled water. The toiletries are also a bit basic - body/hair wash soap dispenser rather than separate shampoo and conditioner, as the quality of shower room and towels might lead one to expect."

"A gem of a hotel. Lovely rooms and a fabulous pool. However, it is the joy of Frédérik BIZAT’s superb Michelin 1 star cuisine that brings us back here when we travel through France. His wife is also wonderful at running the hotel and restaurant. Great staff too! Our fourth visit over 7 years and always a holiday highlight."

"Everything about the property was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very good, including a very comfortable bed. The food in the Informel restaurant was of a very high standard with wine at sensible prices. The breakfast was also very good. The grounds are beautiful and very well tended.
