"It is in a very pretty and quiet location and having the use of a kitchen - micro wave and fridge (which we weren't expecting) was very useful - we will know for another time as the area needs more exploring."

"It was a bit cold - although the temperature had suddenly dropped from being warm and was due to rise again - and I'm sure heating the big old, yet pretty, building is quite a challenge."

"Les Tilleuls is a beautiful set of buildings in a romantic spot. Bernard, the owner, is a perfect host. The room was comfortable and squeaky clean. The breakfast is superb."

"Nothing that the host can do something about, but like so many places in rural France, the area has emptied out. There are no restaurants in the vicinity anymore. You have to drive to Milau for dinner."

"Fabulous breakfast, the best in all our travels this year in France. Wonderful pool and beautiful gardens. Very spacious room in a historic house and a very large comfortable bed. Our schedule only allowed us to stay one night but we could happily have stayed longer."

"When we arrived it felt a bit awkward, there was a group of people drinking wine on the terrace who I assumed were fellow guests and there was no obvious sign of where to go for reception. After a few minutes of us standing there one of the people got up and it turned out he was the host! So that was a slightly strange and rather off-hand welcome. However later he was very friendly and helpful (which somehow made the initial impression even stranger?!). Also it would be a good idea to have a fly-cover over the cheese plate at the buffet breakfast (but apart from that the breakfast was fantastic!)"

"Some way into the countryside from Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon, don’t expect to access by public transport. Nicely renovated large old farmhouse, with and this was a major plus, a good sized pool. Greeted by the host on arrival who explained the facilities. There is no restaurant at the property, however the host was happy to recommend and made the booking on our behalf."

"It is heaven on earth. The type of place you would want to stay for 2 weeks. The breakfast was huge! So generous and the hosts were so accommodating."

"Really nice B&B, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We got by well with our little French and their little English. The location is very peaceful, scenic and quite unique yet is only a 15min drive in to Milau with good restaurants. The continental breakfast was excellent with local and fresh food. We only stayed for 1 night on our travels but wish we could have stayed longer."
