"Beautiful location, quiet and calm. Our host was friendly and helpful. They gave us information about where to find a local supermarket and what time it closed. Unique property full of character. A good stopping point on our way to the Dordogne."

"Small cottage on site of horse breeding stables. Surrounded by fields of beautiful horses. Many outdoor activities like canoeing, horse riding, and walking all a short drive away. Owner has very friendly dogs that my kids loved. Kitchenette is a little small but other than this the accommodation was very stylish and spacious. Very peaceful location out in the countryside."

"The hostess was very friendly. The place has characters. We were greeted by two very friendly dogs as well. You can see a lot of thoughts were putting into the place. The living quarter is fun and enjoyable. The sleeping quarter is relaxing and comfortable. It was pleasant to stay."

"Lovely quiet location, really interesting property, great shower..kids loved the games. Big TV, and a coffee machine so bring your ground coffee and filters."

"The pictures really don't do it justice it's a beautiful home, the staircase is just stunning and the fireplace really warmed the whole place up. It's perfect for a night or two, probably not longer as there's no sofa area to relax, however we had lots of fun playing darts and fussball. The kitchen has most things you could need including toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and stove top to cook. Nice powerful shower and spacious bathroom with separate toilet. The owners dogs who we got to see when going in and out were lovely too."

"Would have been nice to have a bigger pan for cooking as it was a struggle cooking for 5 people in a small frying pan, but easily rectifiable. WiFi would be great but not sure if it is possible in this rural area"
