"Tot, tant la casa amb l'ambient antic/noble com la música clásica de fons per esmorzar. El senyor et porta tot a la taula, al fer calor a part del aire condicionat portàtil a la habitació ja teníem un ventilador silenciós en marxa avanç d'arribar. Que més vols demanar?"

"Specious rooms, clean common areas and a fabulous bath tub. The host was very friendly and accommodating even without a common language. Located near many French villages. Breakfast was served in a beautiful salon with gramophone playing. Great value for money!"

"Very comfortable room in an interesting old house in a very peaceful location. Very comfy beds, lovely bathroom and a fan which was great. Secure parking in the grounds. Felt very much at home with access to tea & coffee making facilities whenever we wanted. The welcome from Pierre on our arrival was warm and genuine and despite our very limited French, he made a real effort to help us settle in and advise us on the best places to eat locally. "Huge apartment centrally located in Bordeaux. Parking spot a real bonus. The instructions for entry to the apartment and the car park were perfect. Beds comfortable. Shared bathroom for the 2 rooms which was large. Great shower. Separate toilet. TV with Netflix etc. All usual kitchen equipment, although we only made coffee/tea etc. Large dining table. Outside court yard patio, although not used as January visit. Close to tram stops - a few mins walk."

The incredibly kind and helpful host showed us the charms of his property and provided comprehensive information about nearby attractions. He even offered our son a horseback ride, showed us ducks and sheep, let us play with his dog."

While the main building has retained the old charm with the original tiling and furniture, the spacious guest rooms have been renovated and offer modern comfort with a huge balcony as a bonus. The breakfast buffet featured an extraordinary range of tasty local products. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is secure parking available for bicycles, making it a great stop for cyclists looking to do the “three col loop” of Allos/Cayolle/Champs, right at the proverbial doorstep."
