"Beautifully appointed small apartment in a medieval building just within the old city walls on the west side of Sarlat, away from the tourist bustle in the city centre. Tasteful modern furnishings fit superbly in an ancient stone vault on the ground floor that you might expect to smell damp - but it didn’t. Free parking for the apartment is just a minute’s walk away. Owner Herve gave us detailed directions and met us at the property with the key. Everything was perfect for our two-night stay in stunning Sarlat in June."

"Only one small thing could be improved: a more up-to-date Wi-Fi router with better security settings. Our devices warned that the settings were not secure and could potentially be compromised."

"Love this apartment. It is ideally situated, extremely clean and very well equipped. We were met by Herve and he was very helpful especially on were to find free car parking. I would highly recommend this apartment."

"Right in the old town but in the quiet, less foot traffic area. Spacious for two people to hang out but also to do some light cooking and dine in. Appreciate the space to eat in, whether it's to warm up the ready-made cassoulet w/ duck confit sold in the store/market or having excellent bakeries from nearby Lissa Joux. Herve was responsive and kind during our stay, and the apartment is cozy with lots of charm. Free parking across the old town entrance up in a little hill with clear instructions. A very comfortable stay."

"The host deserves a mention as he was very patient and understanding, both when he waited in vain for us at check in (due to a misunderstanding through our messages), and when he was informed by the cleaner that we were still inside the apartment at 10:10am (due to my mistake, I misread the fine print and thought check out was at 11am). The apartment was very lovely and full of nice touches. Natural stone, rustic wood and antique furniture were perfectly scattered all over the space. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen and it worked out great for us. Location couldn't be better."

"The flat felt a little humid most of the time, and it is definitely quite dark. I didn't consider these to be issues, especially because we were away most of the time."

"This was an excellent room! The stone walls, the decorations and the furnishings create a warm and cozy atmosphere. It's very clean. It has everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. The location is excellent for walking anywhere within the Old Town region and beyond. Highly recommended"
