"Everything was spotless and seemed brand new. My room was just the right size, good-quality furnishings, toilet separate from bathroom, nice roomy shower stall. Breakfast was ok."

"The breakfast area and the restaurant do not look very welcoming - but then the whole hotel is strictly business, no frilly nonsense to make things look cosy. I can appreciate that for a one-night stay when I'm traveling, but would not want to use this place as base camp to explore the area for a week or so."

"Lovely hotel with plenty of secure parking. Ideal when you're heading South - or North. Very clean and the young man who checked us in and served us with a drink later, was very helpful and polite."

"Disappointed that they weren't able to open the restaurant (no available chef). It was one of the key reasons we booked it so we didn't have to go out to find food. It was made worse by the fact we were only advised on the morning of our stay, after we'd set off from home. In the end, with the help of the receptionist, we found something local that was OK but it's the reason why it's an 8 from us, not a 10."

"Very clean good sized room and safe location with lots of parking , beds really comfortable. .one member of staff on duty who was polite and friendly. Petrol station, just 2 minutes away. Ideal stopover travelling from the sound of France to Calais."

"Not all facilities open, arrived just after 9pm, restaurant and bar closed. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room with no vending machines to purchase any refreshments. Despite these issues, we would use again as we appreciated the overall feeling of safety and comfort after a long day travelling. ."
