"The location is brilliant between some of the best food shops in Mirepoix and 3 mins walk from the main square. The welcome with a few beers in the fridge but particularly the home made pork terrine and delicious fig jam were so lovely"

"We were staying in the hottest week of the year and it got very hot in the house and particularly the two third floor bedrooms which made sleeping difficult."

"The host was gracious, welcoming and even provided some homemade apple jelly and local tapenade for us to try. It was clean and provided all the comforts of home to cook our own meals. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of town, with the butcher, boulangerie, cheese shop and restaurants practically next door. Even nicer is that the open market is right around the corner."

"You do need to walk up a flight of stairs to access the bedrooms."

"Restored old town house on three floors. Characterful with plenty of space for two and well-equipped for self catering, which is perfect for us. Perfect location just 100m from Mirepoix’s fabulous market square with its shops, bars, restaurants, cathedral and busy Monday market. But also quiet and with everything you need almost literally on the doorstep (baker, butcher, grocer, fishmonger, pharmacy and mini supermarket all within a minute’s walk). Next door to an excellent fromagerie!"

"The street parking is free but during shopping hours getting a space very close to the house takes luck. But much easier in the evenings and we managed to park outside or opposite each night we were there."

"A beautiful place with lots of character, renovated with taste. Very friendly welcome by Christian, after communicating our arrival time en route. The home-made pate was wonderful. The location is perfect, round the corner from the central square with lots of restaurants, shops, tourist bureau and markets on Mondays. A boulangerie a few meters away and supermarket across the road. Bed was comfortable, there was a washing machine, outdoor area with big parasol, that also kept the heat out of the house during the day."

"The only negative I should mention is the shower. It was quite small and because of that it was easy to knock the tap, which then good turn to very hot water. I found this a bit dangerous."
