"What a disappointment. Like many French mid-range hotels, there is no in-room fridge. On one of the hottest days of the year, there was nowhere to chill water, wine or milk for tea and coffee. It’s a shame. Limited choice of restaurants nearby apart from the very average Buffalo Grill. Tried to walk to La Piscine but got lost."

"My daughter and I loved spending the night in this château! The property a beautiful and the gardens are stunning. We loved walking through the forest, and enjoyed seeing their extensive tomato garden (700 varieties!). When we arrived hundreds of locals were all there for a plant festival which was fun to be part of. The beds were comfortable, and the plentiful breakfast was served in a stunning room. We didn’t have a car, but the property recommended a local driver who picked us up at the local train station. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"The reception lady was excellent and spoke very good English The hotel is right in the centre of Bergerac. With bars restaurant's and shopping within minutes walk. Varied types of shops . Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice from cereals to ham and cheeses and bread. Coffee maker and various types of teas. The bedroom was clean the shower room was ok. Carparking onsite as well as lots of parking right opposite the hotel"
